    CA - Woodstove Installation

I can't find solid fuel burning appliances in the CMC or CRC.......specifically wood stove installations.

I know it is there and am frustrated. AG calls at 1:30 pm wanting code sections for hearing on Tuesday.

    Help, please.....!?!

Glad I do not have to try out the calif code

    Maybe no code section

    WOOD-BURNING STOVES AND FIREPLACES
Wood stoves and factory-built wood-burning fireplaces must be installed according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Wood stoves usually have a specification plate attached to the back that gives the required clearances from combustibles and floor protection. If no plate is present and no installation instructions are available, the stove cannot be installed in the City of San Bruno.

It's in the Green Code, check section 4.503:

    sue,
table 3-2 also has some of what you are looking for if it is an unlisted appliance. You can use domestic incinerator or room heater if you like.
