Looks like the “horizontal “ board was supposed to continue further to the right, which would have better covered the anchor bolt.

Looking closer it is an AB between plate, without enlargement looked like shot pin

Sorry mark, I don’t think thats a shot. I think its an anchor bolt that’s too short, so the nut us only in a couple of threads.
