Here's a link to one that a colleague shared with me for a place in California. Other states may be different. I personally have no experience with it myself and rely on someone else at the office for these things.

Plans, Sequence of operation, types of monitoring, type of power supply, Emergency or battery power back up, and tie in into fire alarm system and cut sheets of equipment should be provided. It should be monitored, activated when fire alarm system activates - resets with fire alarm system reset.
