    For a 9-unit residential apartment building in Toronto, the 15% of suites requirement turns out to be 1.35 units with full accessibility. In practice, should it be rounded down to 1 unit, or rounded up to 2 units?

    @RLGA Thanks. When you say "...but retain all rights through an agreement to approve changes, review submittals, etc," you mean to retain all rights to the original design architect, not the CCA architect?

    The cutoff line is the building permit. One to work on getting the building permit. The other one is to perform functions from the start to the finish of construction and the final sign-off. I do not know what are the specific functions of the architect during the construction? not much?

    The enclosure is built with steel stubs, plus 2-layers of drywall for the outside and one layer of drywall for the inside. the furring wall will be on top of that.

    The enclosure is for the stair exit, built with steel stubs and drywall, not bearing. Does it make more sense to add a furring wall on top of the enclosure to host the wiring?
