Not a tread or a landing

The rise is consistent all the way up, treads...not so much. I was getting a headache trying to explain how that's not what was on the approved plan, and why no, I will not approve them as-is.

Clean agent system in IT room?

I agree with keeping the water heads. That's what we do here. If the clean agent doesn't extinguish the flames, the equipment is already toast. That's when you need water to save the structure.

    When A55holes have jobs

No excuse. They've had plenty of time to comply, they knew their tags were expired. It's been the law for over 20 years.... Oh wait, I thought this was one of those laws we're supposed to get excited about. :banghd

    Suspended Gas Heaters

It's the new forum policy to encourage paid subscriptions. You ask a question publicly, and your replies are sent anonymously to your in-box. If a non-paying poster poses a question, it's just an empty thread with the sound of crickets.

    Charging other Jurisdictions Permit Fees

We have a few schools in our municipality, but the buildings are under the jurisdiction of the State. No building permits or inspections from us, unless it's an exterior amenity such as a monument sign.

Short Term Rentals (less than 30 days) Such as Air BnB

Some places are more appropriate than others. If you live in Myrtle Beach, SC, or Key West, FL I suppose this is all well and good. In our suburban bedroom community of 20k s.f. lots, renting out your home to 250 people every weekend is frowned upon. Although everyone likes to think they are...

Short Term Rentals (less than 30 days) Such as Air BnB

Our small community is quickly drafting regulations to prohibit them after one here drew attention to itself by hosting a large raucous party. I would expect to see revised zoning laws within the next 2-3 months, if you want to check back with me then.
