2% cross slope on impervious POT surface adjacent to a building

I often see ADA inspectors use a 2-foot "smart level" and demand 2%. Had to ask one of them to check across the whole 5' which met 2.1%. The current ICC A117.1 and the 2010 ADA Standards say 1:48 or 2.1%. Construction specs I see typically use 1/4" in 10' tolerance for floors. That would be off...

    Roof Decking

Put 7/16 over rough sawn 1x on my roof. Nailed through 1x to framing, screwed to 1x where it didn't hit. Less dead load than a layer of roofing. The space as per manufacturer to avoid joints from raising due to expansion

    Trash Dumpster Pads

We only require the dumpster pads with liquid or grease/oil potential go to intercepter and to sewer (restaurant, auto repair). Our sewer district has recently allowed these connections due to storm water but storm water regs requires treatment for these dumpsters. Average yearly rainfall 7" so...

    Is Trash Enclosrue a Building?

U-occupancy. Roof probably required for storm water/sewer regs. The dumpster pad may require a drain connected to sewer and sewer won't allow any storm water

    backflow ice machine

Any documented cases of the water supply being contaminated? I found some history of ice bins being skanky. Hate to require something at a cost of $200 plus $80/year testing and a high failure rate to keep the coffee out of my water.
