    Is it possible that this is actually allowed and is compliant? If so, under what circumstances can we have a 10 awg wire on a 50A breaker?

    30A Breaker on 14awg wire. Legal?

    I just ran conduit for a 2 HP 230V single phase motor using 14awg THHN wire protected by a 30A InvTime breaker. Are there any code issues with this installation?
