Our client is doing partial renovation to a large office space and is concerned about the new signs requirement for Braille duplication - ADA 2010, Section 703.2. Since this is a partial renovation, they do not want to have none-matching signage style throughout the floor. Does anyone know if there's an exemption for partial renovations like this?

What codes, other than the ADA is the project under?

ADA requires that the primary use areas comply.

Watch 3409.6 and the 20%.....They have to make it better every time......I will not speak to ADA requirements and leave that to the experts...
