Access Communications will be holding an ADA Signage Workshop in Newport Beach, California on Friday, April 20, 2012.
The location is the Sunflower Room at the Holiday Inn Express at 2300 West Coast Highway.
Parking is Free
Check-in time is 8:30 a.m.and the morning session runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This session will cover all the regulations, both state and federal, and explain how to use the most stringent. I will emphasize design considerations, so is particularly suited to architects, other designers, and sign companies. However, code issues will be covered as well.
At noon there is a complimentary lunch (sponsored by AcuBraille) along with a sign display, and a time for informal questions and discussions.
The afternoon session runs from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This session will cover the same general material as the morning session, but the emphasis will be on code issues, and will be of particular interest to inspectors or other individuals particularly interested in compliance issues.
We reserve the right to offer only one extended session if both do not reach a minimum number of attendees. In that case, the workshop will be extended to 2 pm so that more code and inspection material can be covered for those who wish to stay.
