Hello,
I am doing my first historic renovation project and looking for some guidance on how to apply the 2018 International Existing Building Code. The occupancy will not be changing. It is 5 Stories, but not a High Rise. We will be renovating over 50% of the building.
Questions -
1. How do you choose a Building Construction Type/Fire Protection Rating for Building Elements in Table 601 of the 2018 IBC?
2. How do you determine what the ratings should be for Exit Enclosures and Shaft Enclosures?
