Does CBC allow Air Inlet Valve?

I'm working on a residential project in Agoura Hills, CA.
There's a sink in the island and plan checker is asking for vent detail. It's slab on grade. Can I use Air Inlet valve? Thank you!

Talk to the plan checker....I am pretty sure that you can but after you discover the requirements ....you might not want to.

By the way it's the CPC at play here. And it’s an AAV .....air admittance valve.

Though not allowed Per the CPC, some jurisdictions allow them in limited installations
