Flat Roof Trusses 3A

3A construction; the roof trusses are not FRTW and are position in between the exterior wall and parapets above constructed with FRTW; but is 1 hr. protected along the outside. Do the trusses need to be FRTW along the exterior walls or is it considered part of the roof assembly that can be of any material permitted?

nevermind just remembered the interpretation between balloon and platform. Thanks for your consideration.

Part of the roof assembly. I don't think you could get FRTW trusses. I don't believe the truss plates could withstand the corrosion of metal problems that come with using FRTW products
