Garage / House Step Requirements NFPA

Hello,

Is there a minimum step height requirement from garage slab to first floor level in NFPA for residential? If so where would this be referenced?

Also, is a pitched slab or internal drain required? Or could it be flat? Drainage is recommended, but curious if it's a requirement.

Which NFPA code does the Vermont require to use, there are many? It does not use IRC?
