This condition requires an automated sprinkler system:

“…fire area located on floor other than a level of exit discharge serving such occupancies…”

Our HOA clubhouse is single floor on partial slab with small basement and attic. How would the condition above apply to our clubhouse? Thanks.

What is in the basement and attic? Small mechanical areas shouldn't trigger the need for sprinklers, but occupiable spaces would.

hvac units in attic and basement, also pool pump/filter in basement.

can you explain what that statement from 903.2.1 means? We are A3 with less than 6000 sq ft. We should not need sprinkler unless that statement requires it. But what does that statement mean?
