Plumber just installed new from the box 5/8 HP top of line disposal, suppose to be "quiet" but very noisey on 2nd run.
Ouch, return to Home Depot?

I would

I returned a $ 1100 refrigerator twice!! because it was noisy

Looking at the reviews it is supposed to be quiet

Is your sink stainless steel? In some situations, a thinner gauge steel will amplify the noise/vibration level.
