Interpretation on door infringement on egress width

Is it only the 'B' dimension that needs to satisfy 1005.7.1, or does 'A' need to be accommodated as well?

1005.7.1 Doors
Doors in any position shall not reduce the required width by more than one-half.

Swing door B out but opposite direction??

And if possible can it swing past 45?
