intumescent fire Coating

They say "ASTM E 119," but I would ask for the specific test report or a UL assembly number. It may be sufficient for getting a Class A finish rating per ASTM E 84, but I'm highly skeptical on anything greater then that.
 
Stuff has been around for at least 15 years. It is pretty amazing stuff. I've seen field demo's and it works.

So looked at some of the stuff on it.


Only find burn videos, no actual applying videos

Say there was a quarter inch gash in half inch sheet rock,,,?

Would this stud fill the gash??
