Meeting the CASp requirements in California

This question is for jurisdictions in California. Are any of your jurisdictions going to have a problem meeting the requirements of CASp certification? I talked with another small department (2 or less) and they are having the same problem that we are, no money and no staff.

Yes, no budget. My hours are being cut from 30 hours to 20 hours a week and I am a department of 1. I have no admin or counter staff, I do it all.

As Mark replied, third party is the only way for me to meet the mandated requirements.

And you can, by state law, charge for the expense of the outsourced plan check.

Oh, believe me, I do. ;) I am dealing with the budgetary problems caused by my predecessors never raising permit fees. Plan check fees are to be paid up front when I send plans out, not later.
