    The Building Inspection Division of the City of Missoula Development Services Department is seeking an exceptional candidate to join a progressive and engaged community of employees and citizens. This position conducts residential, industrial and commercial building inspections to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.


    The successful candidate will:

    · demonstrate a customer-oriented philosophy,

    · possess strong communication skills, and

    · be an effective team member.


    Annual Salary: $55,400*

    *This salary will increase upon conclusion of pending labor negotiations

    In addition to across-the-board base salary increases, the opportunity for performance-based pay increases is under negotiation.

    The City officers an exceptional benefits package including paid vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, and medical insurance provided at no cost for single employee coverage.


    Selected candidate may be eligible for out-of-state relocation expenses.
