Is this the best forum to post discussion points or queries related to the National Building Code in Canada or the NECB? Doesn't seem to be many recent updates in this sub-forum?
 
This would be the best spot.

We don't have many Canadians around here, but the few we do have a pretty sharp. Post away and give it a few days. You'll get an answer.
