Occupancy permit lookup

Depends on how sophisticated the city is??

You can possibly do an open records request online,,, if not in person than
 
We don't have an "Occupancy Permit", if you are wanting to know what the current occupancy classification is for a property, calling the Building Department would be as fast as anything. JMHO
 
We don't give out info without a open records application and we don't have "occupancy permits" only "Certificate of Occupancy's" which is not a permit. Must be a local thing.

And I would not rely on the Cert. of Occ. nor a tenant and use or zoning and use form. Best bet is to do a freedom of information search for the plans.
