DESCRIPTION
A general overview of what elements in our environment whether at work, play, or home that can be included now for us to easily age in place later. Learn about different design considerations whether color, light, or accessibility parameters that can be addressed within our built environment to not only allow us to age in place but to also allow others to visit us whether they have issues concerning accessibility or aging.

An overview of design considerations which can easily be addressed now to not only allow us to age in place later but also have others visit us whether they have issues concerning accessibility or aging
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Review design issues for implementation now regarding Aging In Place in the future
Overview the different disabilities and how we can voluntarily accommodate for them
Understand how to integrate access to allow for visitability
Gain X hours towards State requirements for Architectural license renewal
typically 2½ hours for the full seminar or 2 hours for the condensed version
