I'm converting an existing vented crawl space into a conditioned crawl space and am looking at using Thermax rigid insulation board at the interior face of the foundation walls with no additional ignition barrier covering on it, because it appears to offer the code-required fire resistance. According to the Thermax/Dupont website it has FM4880 approval, which is one of the testing methods approved by R316.6

Do any of you have experience with this product meeting approval for this (crawl space) application?
