Yes Tim, the DOJ has gone after some firms doing multifamily work. They may have published an opinion 0n this, I will check my files.

They usually go after the developers/owners but have been know to name the designers as a part of the lawsuit, and sometimes the developer will sue the designer for not designing it to meet the Fair Housing Act:
