We are building an addition on a house that is basically just an enclosed porch. It is not conditioned and has a good number of outlets as is. There are 4 locations where the wall is about 3'-0" on either side of French doors and the homeowner does not want outlets there. I am trying to figure out if this would qualify as a "general living area" where I would be required to place one every 12' and on every wall greater than 2'-0"? Can someone help me?

Not enough information. A rudimentary drawing would help. And fatboy, that doesn't mean what you're thinking.
