I had a CASP specialist tell me a couple of weeks ago that the newest proposed ADA Guidelines will begin to address the interiors of apartment units that have received some type of federal funding, such as tax credit or HUD projects.

I thought that's what UFAS and FHA is for!

Do any of you know anything about this?

There are no new "proposed ADA Guidelines".

ADA does not, and will not cover the interiors of apartment units.

They do cover Hotel, motel, and timeshare interior spaces.

I've been looking around more, and I think he might've been referring to the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, section 233. He was looking at affordable housing projects, including HUD and tax credit projects, and saying that the manager's units represent "employee housing", almost like fireman's quarters.
