    Fire stopping Just asking

That is when a contractor should know and are responsible for knowing what is supposed to be done and in a proper manner - That would come under the heading of I don't know how YOU are going to fix your non code complaint installation. I would suggest calling a third party field rep (3M, STI...

Blaze Master Piping is allowed per NFPA 13 for light hazards, it is not approved for risers between floors but certainly may be used as depicted- However local amendments/interpretations may eliminate the use of PVC in buildings over X number of stories.

    What violation is this?

grounding and number of conductors in FNC may be an issue / Bonding between two systems may also be an issue/ just to many questions about this installation. STORIES WITH ONE EXIT

Also, remember the occupant load for the dwelling unit, if a dwelling unit is over 2000 square feet, it should be required to have two exits from the dwelling unit - 1004.1, 1006.2.1, etc.

Guard Deflection Pass, Fail and or Compliance

Should be flagged if the deflection of the cabling system allows a gap larger than 4" as required by 1015.4. That was strictly enforced in the tourist town I worked in prior.

New Breaker Panel & AFCI Protection.

The older wiring methods will create havoc with the arc faults and/or GFCI. Unless they are changing the branch circuits there-selves, I probably would allow the arc fault to be eliminated. (letter to be in file of course). If they extend or re-purpose the branch circuit from original use, then...

Type IIB Construction High Rise Wall Framing

what does the section concerning fur-out construction state? see 803.1.3 for starts - I don't think FRTW is required if these provisions are followed which is specific to the application and does not follow the general rules for combustible materials in 603 see item #18.

    High-Rise Stairwell Compromise?

I would be more concerned about the size of he box and allowable number of square inches allowed per 100 square feet of wall........ or something of that nature. I doubt the block wall is thick enough to have calculated fire resistance maintained for the stair shaft. 714.3.2 2015 ibc
