    Just was introduced to this forum. Looks like a happening place with lots of activity. I'm a building inspector in a large metropolitan area in the NE. also a teacher of codes, and a writer of codes - served on the Massachusetts Existing Building Code Committee for the last two code cycles.

Level 2 with work on more than 50% of the floor area does. removing a wall is Level 2 (any reconfiguration of space) the question is - if there is work that is Level 2 , can one parse off the Level 1 work into a different work area and...
