    we have homes designed for 350# p.s.f. snow loads here so why not require homes to meet the 350 mph winds there? it's all relevant. the tax payers end up footing the bill for under-designed structures.besides maniac could use the work!

    those will smell real good real quick. The code has rules regarding what type of materials are use around toilets and urinals for a reason.

    2013 renovation, adding a bar

    I just required the 60" lowered portion on a twelve foot long bar in a bar /restuarant establishment. Calif is real specific in the raised bar seating requirement and the equivalent seating at a seperate table thing won't fly here. The owners weren't thrilled with the law but i don't make them...

    nothing like sitting on a deck in the great scenic outdoors and looking at a guardrail. the 42" guardrail height blocks the field of vision perfectly. dumass code change imo.
