    Klarenbeek is on the right track: a mechanical exhaust system that delivers different types of gases and air. etc need to be independent of each other. Flue gas from a fossil fuel appliance can not be joined with exhaust from a dryer, bathroom, kitchen etc.

    Nominal voltage does not take into consideration a plus or minus 10%. Nominal is used for load design calculations. NEMA design criteria for motor design can use a plus or minus value for run performance.
