    Does "adjoining" include the case of "lower" superimposed occupancy?

    This is a test question and the answer is A: The answer use this: Shall 3.2.2.7.(2) be applied in cases where the residential occupancy is below the merchandise occupancy? When 3.2.2.7.(2) is applied, is 3.1.3.1.(1) still needed to check for the most restrictive requirement?

    Multiple Occupancy "Zones" in a 2-unit "Seperated" Building

    Short: The building we are located in supports 2-units; 3125sq/ft each. The two units are separated with a wall extending to the roof and they each have their own main entrance and a rear emergency exit. My business is considered both A-3 and M. The building itself is considered "separated"...
