Building a Type 1, B building. There is a sloped roof structure over 20' AFF with mezzanine in center with exposed high corridors on each side. The mezzanines have a 1 hour fire wall around perimeter. we will be fireproofing roof cols, beams and joists above mezzanines and floors but do we need to also fire proofing corridors that are over 20' AFF?
Table 601 b exception says every part of the roof. Even if it's 20' AFF?

PER IBC 2018, TABLE 601, SUB ITEM B. " Except in Group F-1, H, M, and S-1 occupancies, fire
protection of structural members in roof construction shall not be required, including protection of
primary structural frame members, roof framing and decking where every part of the roof
construction is 20 or more is above any floor immediately below..."
