Just saw that IC rated recessed lights are required when installed as part of the thermal envelope. No more boxing around. Did not know that. Always thought there were options. Anyone have any issues with this or are all installations IC rated anymore?

Look for the "green" sticker, not all are rated.

IC cans have been used almost exclusively around here for many years.
