2010 Green Job Stats

Green that I've experienced:

Bamboo plywood that is the most moisture unstable finish material I've encountered in 35 years of carpentry.

Straw desks tops that look like bales and cost three time more than high pressure laminate.

Collected about a hundred pounds of PVC packaging, attempted to recycle it, only to find that the local recycling center doesn't recycle PVC. Need to haul it three hours across the mountains to get the LEED credit.

Yep, We're saving energy now!
