303.3 Assembly Group A-2.

Assembly uses intended for food and/or drink consumption including, but not limited to:

Banquet halls

Casinos (gaming areas)

Nightclubs

Restaurants, cafeterias and similar dining facilities (including associated commercial kitchens)

Taverns and bars

any comment on "cafeteria"

or

"dining facilities (including associated commercial kitchens"

Just wondering if any comment to code change

Such as including the kitchen as part of the dining

Not calling it a different occupancy type, which may or may not require separation, and even though most of have been doing it, 2012 makes it legal

Also hate terms in the code that are not defined

If they're not defined in the code, then it is the "ordinarily accepted meanings." I think we all know what is a cafeteria. I like the clarification of including the kitchen within the A-2...I've been bounced between Group B (the 'business' side of a dining facility) and Group F-1, since 'bakeries' are included in that list. Now there's no question.
