ICC reorganized section 507 in the 2024 IMC. Has anyone else noticed that the exception for listed hoods is missing? It was exception 1 in of 507.1 in previous editions but its gone in the 2024 edition. This is the exception for hood construction, filters, canopy size and location, airflow rates, pretty much everything that makes a listed hood advantageous. The exception is still there for listed recirculating hoods listed to 710B.

I think ICC had and oops there....

My dad used to carry one of these everywhere. He gave me one, but I don't know where I put it. I'll look when I get a round tuit.
