Does a large (greater than 10% of floor area) 2nd floor terrace used exclusively by a business occupancy building still need to classified as assembly? And if so does that space need to be fire separated from the building even though its outside? Appreciate the help

If the entire building is sprinkled, then choose the non-separated and most restrictive provisions applied to the entire building.

A3
If the building is non-sprinkled and there is no food and/or beverages involved and the entire building is less than 12,000 S.F. then choose the non-separated and most restrictive provisions applied to the entire non-sprinkled fire area.

A2
If the building is non-sprinkled and there is food and/or beverages involved and the entire building is less than 5,000 S.F. then choose the non-separated and most restrictive provisions applied to the entire non-sprinkled fire area.
