3 Hour Fire Rated Ceiling Assembly

What is the standard method for achieving a 3 hour rated ceiling for the refuse chute termination room in a steel building? UL doesn't provide many options, most of them being assemblies with bar joists which are not being used in the building I am currently designing.

Is sprayed on fireproofing for the beams & deck an option? If you have a ceiling below that the ceiling doesn't have to be rated.

We need 3 hour for the refuse chute termination room per NYCBC 708.13.4

I'd rather an assembly of gyp board as the building doesn't require spray anywhere else.

Typically we'll get 3hr from the comp deck assembly. Vulcraft is the most common deck I see. They have FRRs for all of their decks w/ UL assys. In general you add more concrete to get the rating you want. The other option is to add cementitious fireproofing to the bottom of the deck.
I haven't see 3hr assys for running shaftliner horizontal. I imagine the spans would be very limited simply due to all the dead load. Probably wouldn't be able to clear span a trash room if they even have a 3hr tested assy.
