Adding on a 2700 SF addition to an existing 50,000 SF manufacturing facility. Approximately 2/3rds of the addition will have new, exterior walls with the remaining 1/3rd using a shared wall with the existing plant. Conditioning of the two spaces will be similar. How would that shared wall be classified in ComCheck (Other:Exterior?) and what "R"/"U" value would I use for that 1/3rd portion?

Thanks

The wall in question is common to both areas that are heated? If it is I don't think that you have to enter anything as it is not part of the building envelope anymore. Thoughts?

Agreed with jpranch. Any energy modeling software is usually only concerned with surfaces affecting heat loss.
