A little good news - permits reach 17 month high

Well if I may comment on this I don't see much of a trend yet. One builder has cut prices way down from a few years (60-100k under) and is managing to sell homes. Other builders are still sitting on their hands at this time. So anything down here in my town will be a slow start.

But heck we hit 220 permits (bld only) and last year's was only little over 400. Solar PV and water heating are way up so far and those aren't included in building permits. All good but still a lot of time in the office.
