Not where I really want to be
I just got off the phone with a friend living in Madison Twp. near Scranton, Pa. Joe said that since early this morning the snow has been coming down, it is nearly waist high and is still falling. The temperature is dropping way below zero and the north wind is increasing to near gale force. His wife has done nothing but look through the spa room window and just stare.

He says that if it gets much worse, he may have to let her in....

Playing golf tomorrow in Palm Springs..... it's supposed to be 81 degrees..... gotta break out the shorts!

(It's 77 here at the beach right now.....)

I think that some forum members may have actually

thought that your posting was about the weather.

You mean did they help the wifes in

50 degrees here yesterday unbelievable winter. Snow in the mountains is 35% less than normal levels. Not good, that usually indicates a dry summer and increase chance of large forest fires. Still have 2 1/2 months of winter left but it isn't looking good

It is funny how a friend's young son was given the task to shovel the front porch just so he could experience doing so and instead of using the shovel to pull the job off, he thought, to himself at least, an ingenious idea to make the whole think a lot quicker.

He noticed that the snow sort of melted when water is flushed to it. After a while, it hardened all the more and gave it that ice skating rink feel to it.
