Ok, so this is not a code related question, its more of a detail question, but i wasn't sure the best place to post. Here it goes.

Looking to specify some acoustical doors for a client who requested them. looks like getting the door/frame specified is pretty easy.
How do i handle the the joint from the frame to the wall. Online i see it talk about filling the gap with an accoustic material. But not sure what that should be.
any help or direction would be appreciated.

if your client is looking for a level of acoustical performance that requires acoustical door frames I would probably look at hiring an acoustical engineer to help you with this. I know a decent one on the Hartford area with reasonable rates, PM me is you want some contact info.
