Is kraft paper backed allowed to be used in warehouse roof deck that is air conditioned and sprinkled? we would use a stik pin installation.

Welcome,,,

Cannot answer your question,,,

I am thinking for long run, it would have to be replaced at some point...

Plus you are adding a fuel load to the fire sprinkler system design.

Thank you. The only additional fuel load would be the paper and the fact that it is at the ceiling, the lack of oxygen would more than likely snuff it out.

Only if it is covered with gypsum board or other finish material that meets IBC chapter 8.

2015 IBC 720.3 limits exposed insulation to a flamespread of 25 and smoke-developed of 450. Kraft facers don't meet this, and I believe that rolls of kraft-faced insulation have a warning printed on them that the kraft facer must be installed in direct contact with the finish material.
