I know that the EPS must have an annunciator in two locations and that one of those must be a 24/7 manned location. What about the EPSS and more specifically, the ATS's; does the status of these need to be annunciated in similar fashion.
Reason I ask, is that at an existing hospital I'm working at, they have, next to their annunciator in their facilities office, a separate box that annunciates ATS positions.
At the 24/7 manned location they only have this second box. i.e. there is no generator annunciator, only the annunciator indicating ATS position.
Clearly they should add the gen annunciator. But what I'm really wondering is whether or not this ATS's annunciator is code driven or just something that this user must have expressed an interest in at the time the generators were installed.
Thanks
Mike
