The job is an addition of 848 sq.ft. The inspection was for under-slab plumbing. Only one of them speaks English.

There will be a kitchen island. There's no foot vent or electricity but they did provide for agua caliente.

Form boards look good

What do you make them do with the corner vents on the existing house that will be closed up? Are you concerned that might be a "dead air space" that may create "problems" when no longer vented?

Can they use AAV's? Maybe they are bringing in wireless power? Love those Tees laying down.....

One side of the building will lose the underfloor vents. Vents can be added on the other three sides. Thanks for reminding me.

We still don't allow AAV.

I gave them a copy of the Code Check page with an island sink drain. We don't allow the IRC version and do require the UPC version.

This was the next inspection. I explained that the foot vent is missing.

Then they called for foundation inspection. Another inspector approved the plumbing on a day I took off.

I asked them what the third pipe is for and they said it is the vent.
