Anything in Fllorida County code to stop you from building Ugly or Odd?

I have a 50x100 lot in really ugly neighborhood with really old ugly houses and trailers. I want to build a steel house on there. the building is has a wind rating of 153mph and they offer Florida signed blueprints. It will meet the 600 sq foot requirement with a foot print of 20 wide by 30 deep, but I wonder....

Anything in the County Code Flagler County Building Department to stop me given:

* It's ugly

* Complete open concept with few interior walls

* Windows and door will only be on the ends?

* Walls are not insulated

What do I need to provide the county to be sure before I buy?

I would suggest a visit to the local building department having jurisdiction. I would suspect that the Planning Department would have issues.
