When are you guys requesting fire sprinkler/fire alarm as-builts to be resubmitted to the plan checker for review?

A. When common sense dictates?

B. Only when major deviations from approved plans?

C. It doesn't matter....if it's not on the approved plans, resubmit?

It depends upon how tight they did the hydraulic calculations. If they leave no safety factor and had to add some offsets they should resubmit. If they left a health safety factor and had to make a few field offsets, I generally do not worry about it.

for plans if a number of devices are going to be added in the field, yes so it can be reviewed prior to install

hydraulics if there is a problem with them resubmit

a few sprinkler heads need adjusting NO!

this is during plan review

in the field normaly do not require as builts to be submited, because should have been handled during plan review

now during plan review, if there are some changes that are needed, but NO real plan review is needed, may ask for an as built set at the end of the project, so we have something close to what was installed.
