Looking for help, 2015 IBC Massachusetts amendments. Auto/truck repair garages
12800 sf of garage area, 7 bays 100 feet deep, garage doors on both ends, space frame metal construction, OHII fire sprinkler system, proposed as a S-1 use group, Motor vehicle garage complying with the MAQ in table 307.1(1).
Tennant provides dump trucks, which motor operating fuel tank are exempt from MAQ, also has bob tail propane delivery and home heating oil delivery.
Given while other than the dumps truck are in the building being repair, they fall under S-1.
Given that the oil or propane delivery tank on a truck are being repaired it could be considered a S-1 for a a period of time, how long before the tank truck is in the building does it become a H use group?
How would the group document the allowance for repair but not the garaging of the fuel oil and propane delivery vehicles?
Any other insight or suggestions would be helpful
