Neither balcony is cantilevered and the lower balcony is connected and supported midpoint by the upper balcony which is supported by the upper, exterior wall near the roof line. I would love to know what is supporting the wall at the top?

I would require the DCS100 load test.

DCS100 = 100 Drunken College Students, preferably dancing in unison.

Yeah, that upper connection must be thru bolted to something serious..................or not.

Wow street view confirms a tremendous amount of these balconies on this building!

If properly designed and tied back to roof diaphram it should be fine.

I wanna see the design and tieback detail on the plans.

This is the traditional method of supporting theater marques
