How does one install a warning tape from the building to the utility pole if the service is bored? It is a small commercial type 5 building 400 amp service using schedule 80 burial depth 18 inches.
 
I would hazard a guess that any sections of code referencing "warning tape" are all under the context of "trenching". No trench = not required.

If you are using conduit and not a directly buried cable such as triplex, then that section that requires tape does not even apply.
